How to score your CELPIP Speaking practice test
CELPIP Speaking is judged across four dimensions. After each recording, listen back and ask yourself:
- Content / Coherence - Did I directly answer the prompt with a clear beginning, middle, and end? Were ideas connected with linking words?
- Vocabulary - Did I use precise, varied word choices, or did I repeat the same few words? Any slang or unnatural phrasing?
- Listenability - Was my pace natural, my pronunciation clear, my intonation expressive? Any long pauses or filler words?
- Task fulfillment - Did I complete every part of the prompt before time ran out?
