Why drill a single CELPIP Listening part

Full mock exams are great for pacing all 38 questions in one sitting, but they spread your attention across every part at once. Part-by-part drills are the opposite: focused, short, and scored the moment you finish.

Fix the weakest part

If the fast Part 5 discussion or the Part 6 viewpoints talk is where you lose marks, drilling it on its own beats sitting another full 38-question mock. Stay on one part until the pattern clicks.

Shorter sessions

One part is a couple of minutes of audio and a handful of questions with an instant score, not a 47-minute listening section. Easy to slot into a break.

Train your ear

Each CELPIP Listening part has its own demands: interleaved sections, a single fast conversation, a news item, a three-way discussion. Drilling a part tunes your ear to its style so you stop missing details on test day.

How single-part listening practice works

1

Pick a part

Parts 1 to 6 each target a different listening skill, from problem solving to viewpoints. Start with the one you keep struggling with.

2

Choose a set

Every part has three sets to work through, each drawn from a different full listening test. Tap one to start it with real audio in the real exam format.

3

Listen and get scored

The audio plays once, just like the real test. Answer, then get an instant auto-score the moment you finish. Redo any set as many times as you like.

CELPIP Listening practice questions

Should I drill parts or take full mocks?

Both, in different phases. Early on, drill Parts 1 to 6 separately to learn each question style and train your ear. Closer to test day, take a full listening mock so you practise pacing all 38 questions in one sitting.

Is the audio real, and does it play once?

Yes. Each drill uses real multi-voice audio and plays once, exactly like the official CELPIP Listening test. The transcripts are original, written to match the official CELPIP patterns for each part, not redistributed Paragon material.

How is each part scored?

Automatically, the moment you finish. Because listening answers are objective, you get an instant result with the number correct, no waiting and no credits needed. For an estimated CELPIP level, take the full six-part mock.

Do I need an account?

No. The drills are open to everyone and you can start without an account. Sign in free and your listening results save to your account so they follow you across devices.
